The role of the club administration committee is to conduct activities associated with the effective operation of the club.

It is only through efficient club operations that a Rotary club can provide service to its community, retain members, and develop leaders for the club, district, and Rotary International.

The responsibilities of the club administration committee summarized below are explained further in this chapter:

• Develop committee goals to achieve club’s annual goals.

• Organize weekly and special programs.

• Produce the club bulletin and maintain the club Web site.

• Help the club secretary track club attendance.

• Promote fellowship among club members.

• Conduct any other activities associated with the effective operation of the club.

 

BULLETIN:   to record events of the weekly meeting, future important dates, next week's speaker, birthdays, anniversaries, fellowship events, committee announcements, and copy and distribute to club members every week.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS: to record future events , future important dates, future speaker, future fellowship events, committee announcements, and copy and distribute to club members, every week.

REGISTRATION  AND ATTENDANCE: to collect weekly dinner fees, record attendance, report to Secretary, promote weekly attendance, and conduct monthly perfect attendance draw. Record dates that members will be away, and report the next weekly attendance commitment of meals,to the Golf Club, 2 full days before each meeting. Reconcile with the treasurer, at the end of each month, the attendance and the Golf Club invoice. Recommend to treasurer, those who were absent who did not notify, in advance, their anticipated absence, so that those members pay for the shortfall, if one exists..  

PHONE COMMITTEE:  to call each club member , on occasion, to promote special events, check exact numbers for events, and check on their social well being.

BIRTHDAYS / ANNIVERSARIES: to ensure accurate data and announce weekly, the birthdays and anniversaries of our members and their spouses.

HISTORIAN / ROSTER BOOK:  to take and collect photos, arrange in scrapbook. To create a new Roster Book with members' photos and data and regularly update the Club website with photos, stories, events, and bulletins..

FELLOWSHIP:  to help further club "esprit du corps" with Rotary Fellowship, social events, which involve spouses, and children. Such as: Holiday parties, summer BBQ's , tours of businesses and places of interest, day trips, outings, Valentine's Day Dinner, St Patrick's Day Dinner, Day at The Races, Oshawa Generals Hockey Game, just to name a few. 

PROGRAM:   to arrange and provide interesting, informative, and varied programs for weekly meetings.

SGT AT ARMS: To conduct the weekly Ace of Spades Draw, and to collect Happy Twoonies from members and guests at each weekly meeting. To ensure that the meeting room is set up with projector, screen, flags, podium, microphone, speakers, and tables well in advance of the meeting. To make sure that the Registration Table is set up with the badge box and brief case, well in advance of each meeting.
