ANNOUNCEMENTS Hilda - Reverse Draw Committee meeting at 5.00 PM before the regular meeting on April 29 Dave Andrews - reminded everyone that he has Reverse Draw Tickets for us and that the marketing material he has provided for us should be utilized. Over 165 tickets out so far. Our goal is to sell all 200 tickets. Please get all of your ticket stubs, and money and meal choices in to Dave by next week. We need to tell the hotel the meal choices and numbers. In addition, please get your Silent Auction items as soon as you can and send photo and retail price and donor name to Dave A so he can create posters. APR 18 – Hilda announced that this is our next Bingo Matinee with Hilda F, Al F, Brady B, and David P. At 11 AM . Please note that nine members currently volunteer for Bingo. It is our second largest fundraiser. Would like to see more volunteers. Many hands make light work. Please see Hilda or Linda if you can volunteer. APR 27 - 2024 ROTARY GREAT LAKES WATARSHED CLEANUP: RAIN OR SHINE Great Lakes Water Cleanup – 9:30 am to 11:30 am at The Second Marsh with Oshawa and Courtice Rotary Clubs. Please let Dave know as soon as possible if you are attending. Bring your own water (in a reusable bottle) and a picker if you have one. Wear boots. It will be wet walking. 11 Civic Leaders so far will be attending. Park along Col Sam Drive near Second marsh sign (on south side of road). Ted Morrison - reminds us to remind your ticket purchasers to bring cash for briefcase, heads or tails game and table tickets. Hilda Finnigan – Ploughman’s Choice Sale for 2024 is ON NOW. We will be at the North Oshawa Farmers Market starting on May 11 , 18, 25, and June 1 and also there for 6 weeks in the fall. Volunteers are always welcome. Hilda Finnigan – Our Club will be selling Ploughman’s Choice 100% composted livestock manure and Bird Feeders at the Brooklin Fair (June 1 and 2) and at the 2024 Peony Festival ( June 8 and 9) in the Oshawa Botanical Gardens.
