HAPPY BUCKS

Bob Koski – decided not to shave for a few days . He noticed that a lot of PGA Tour players don’t shave. They have game beards and they play some really great golf. Bob did the same and had the best score today.

Linda and Craig were at the North Oshawa Farmers market on Saturday filling in for Al and Hilda who were at the Red Barn Bingo. It rained the whole time and it really got cold too, and they sold two bird houses. (Editor’s Note: They really do deserve a medal for that day)

Lennis and John Kellam -  great classic Car tour last week Some 140 from all over North America there for the one week tour organized by Lennis , Esther, John and Willie. There was one stolen truck and trailer but the tour guests got it back.

Janice – Her son, daughter in law and new baby went to al wediing recently and they all got Covid. They are recovering.

Darryl Rancourt – Thanks Bob Koski and Al Finnigan for delivering the two donated wheel chairs to his warehouse as part of our Partners in Service program. One chair is going out to a recipient tomorrow. That’s Rotarians a People of Action.

Ted  -  glad to be going to Costa Del Sol this winter (mid Feb 2024)  to a fantastic resort.

Dave A – glad the District Newsletter is done for August and so glad to see Darryl tonight.

ROTARY MOMENT:

Tonight, President Linda encouraged all of us to keep on celebrating all of the many successes we have as a Rotary Club – our projects, our fundraising, our fellowship and our fun. Be sure to feel good. Celebrate who we are, not who we are not.
