GUEST SPEAKER:   DR BETH DORRANS – ROTARY GLOBAL GRANT SCHOLAR

Dr. Beth Dorrans was introduced by Ted Morrison. Beth comes from Glasgow Scotland and is a Rotary Global Scholar getting her Masters of Public Health at the University of Toronto.

Beth is a physician who worked critical care at the Glasgow hospital during the Covid pandemic

She showed slides of Glasgow , the university she got her medical degree from and she also showed slides about why she is interested in Public health.

She thanked Rotary and us for our part in awarding her a global grant scholarship._

There were questions at the end . She was thanked by the club by David Penney.

Its nice to see where some of out donations to The Rotary Foundation are going and how they are helping to do good in the world.

This was a very informative and interesting talk

Robbie is the liaison with Purple Woods for the Maple Syrup Festival and Ted is looking after the sign up sheet.  We have 13 each day!  On the day of event, our names and contact info will be required.  Best to arrive at 8:30 for good parking.
