Past President Lennis Trotter – Next meeting of Kids Safety Village of Durham Region Board/Committee is Monday January8 at the Regional Headquarters on Rossland Rd E in Whitby, at 7 PM in room 1A.

President Ted Morrison –

Please welcome new member David Penney who has transferred in. He is Past President of the Bowmanville club and has completed all 3 parts of the Rotary Leadership Institute courses.

Thanks again to Janice and Kris for hosting the Christmas party at their Condo party room.

January 30 will be a club Business Meeting. We will have reports from the Treasurer and Committee Chairs, as well as an update on the Strategic Plan.

January 9 there will be a meeting of the Community Services and Youth Services Committee prior to the regular meeting.

January 16 there will be a meeting of the Membership Committee prior to the regular meeting.

Draw Winner Sue Mackinnon drew the Ace of Clubs.

 

HAPPY BUCKS:

Janice Coupland is delighted that Ted is recovering so well from his surgery. She had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year and was happy that she didn’t have to cook dinner.

David Penney is happy to be here for his first meeting with Oshawa-Parkwood.

Dave Andrews welcomed back President Ted and expressed a welcome to Dave Penney to the club.

Stanley Igboanugo thanked Kris and Janice for their hospitality. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year,and glad to see Ted back from his surgery.

Lennis Trotter had a very good Christmas and New Year.

Ted Morrison thanked everyone for the good wishes after his surgery. Since then he actually was able to dance at a wedding.
