REMINDER: SAVE THE DATE: Ted also announced that the 2020 date for our Kids Against Hunger was going to be Sunday May 3 at the Jubilee pavilion in Lakeview Park in Oshawa.

January 18 – Grow Rotary Workshop is being held in Vaughn. Let Sue McKinnon know if you want to attend.

Bingo Saturday January 25 at the Red Barn – It is Robbie’s team.

January 22 at 7:30 PM – Kids Safety Village Board and Committee Meeting at the Kids Safety Village.

January 28 – Our Regular Meeting. We will meet for dinner at 6 pm, not 6:30 pm. Alexander Gates Curator of Canadian Automotive Museum will give a brief talk, then we will go on the tour of the Museum at approximately 7 p.m. Spouses, children and grandchildren are welcome. Children under 12 - a chicken fingers dinner -  cost $16.00. Dave needs the final numbers for you and your guests by Jan 21 at the latest.

February 3 – Delta Bingo (Safety Village)

February 11 will be our Valentine’s Dinner at the Shrimp Cocktail. 6 PM start. Sign up sheet was passed around. Please let Janice know if you are going to attend and how many people.

Ted Morrison relayed that the number of worldwide polio cases in 2019 rose to 125.

Sue McKinnon – Sue’s friend from Burlington called to cancel their visit after Sue had already cleaned house!

Robbie Larocque - Larry Hurren will be holidaying after March 1st, so Robbie will need Bingo volunteers for his team.

Larry Hurren – He and Kay will be travelling to Australia in March. Kay is concerned about the Aussie wild fires. Hopefully they will have had enough rain by the end of March.

Ted Morrison – GM held a raffle for the last truck off the line. They raised $117,500. The new GM President presented the proceeds to Sharon Clark, very familiar to our club, and the founder of Sharon’s Kids..
