We respectfully acknowledge that we are hosting this Rotary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood meeting from land within the jurisdiction of Williams Treaties and on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nations, the Anishnaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. This acknowledgement reminds us of our responsibilities to our relationships and the ancestral lands on which we learn, share and live.

Ted Morrison announced that in the August issue of the Rotarian magazine on page 20 there is a very good one-page article on the Foundation. Everyone should read it

Committee Lists being passed around. Please sign up for at least 3 committees per member. It sure helps everyone keep the work load spread among all of us.
Aug 13 – Inter Club Social - Blue Jays Game - Join The Rotary Club of Courtice for some Inter Club fun taking in the Saturday August 13th Toronto Blue Jays vs Cleveland Guardians, 3:07 PM game. Ticket cost is $65 per person and includes round trip bus transportation and 1 ticket in Sections 204-205 rows 4 through 8. We will be offering bus pick up from the Courtice Community Complex at 2950 Courtice Road and another pick up at the Chuck E Cheese Parking lot in Whitby, departing from Courtice at 12:30pm sharp and Whitby at 12:45pm sharp. Please note that this is a Vladdy Victory Bobblehead Giveaway Game for the first 15000 to enter the building. The return buses will depart the Rogers Centre at 6:15pm sharp and return you to your original pick up location.
