Yes, St. Patricks Day celebration next Tuesday! Wish we could go out to a pub but that is not an option this year. So we will zoom and make the best of it that we possibly can!

SPEAKER: Nilam Bedi - Chair District 7070 Environmental Action Committee
Introduced by Dave A., Nilam Bedi is the Chair of District 7070 Environmental Action Committee and the Immediate Past President of the Toronto Eglinton Rotary Club. He is a public policy professional and has led the development of environmental policies and programs at the international, national, provincial, and local levels. Some of the files he has managed include climate change, land use, water resources, biodiversity, environmental standards, and sustainable agriculture.
He has worked at several levels of the government, with the United Nations and in academia.
Nilam is a passionate Rotarian and a member of the Cadre of Technical Advisors for the Rotary Foundation. Cadre members are experts called upon to evaluate and provide advice on Global Grants given by the Foundation. He is currently involved in the development of guidance on Rotary’s newest Area of Focus - Environmental Sustainability.
