Introduced by David Andrews, Simon gave a very interesting account of the history of Economic Development in Durham region. He the outlined what the “INVEST DURHAM” 15 member team has been doing for the last 5 years including Covid time.
When discussing the FUTURE of Economic Development in Durham, he emphasized the talent that we have in Durham.
His Team continues to support small business and work on attracting new investment by marketing Durham as an area that has the talent to get the job done. Simon encouraged everyone to “google” Invest Durham and the timeline of Innovation for more information.. He encouraged everyone to shop Durham.
