GUEST SPEAKER  Janice Coupland introduced Terry-Ann Hemmings who recently attended RYLA.  Terry-Ann is currently a student studying  her BScN at UOIT.  She is also the Secretary of the Rotoract Club of UOIT/Durham College.

   Terry-Ann related her week long experience which she named "the 7 G's of RYLA". 

   1. G = Growth - a general discussion and time to learn abut one another and Rotary, surprised to learn that Rotary has a seat at the United Nations

   2. G = Gift - attended the Rotoract Conference

   3. G = Goodness - "don't be discouraged"; words of inspiration from India

   4. G = Goals - visioning, teambuilding, goal setting, how to deal with change

   5. G = Go Getters - debate on "human trafficing"

   6. G = Gratitude - Participated in a Strategic Objective Competition, spoke with Rotary International, attended Gala

                              dinner

   7. G=Goodbye but will stay in touch as bonds have been made "forever friends"

            This was a fun, wonderful, learning experience.
