GUEST SPEAKER: MORGAN JOY – HER EXPERIENCE AT ROTARY YUTH LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM
Ted Morrison introduced Morgan Joy who recently attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium. Ted is very proud of his niece, Morgan whose first introduction to Rotary was when she volunteered at the Market with Hilda and Al. Her enthusiasm for life and whatever opportunity it offers shone through in her presentation which had to be delivered without the planned technological support she had expected!!
The three day Symposium was held in the Ganaraska Forest and led by Rotarians with support and participation of Ganaraska staff. Morgan noted the program highlights of team building, learning to trust, games of survival, making memories and learning opportunities mixed with fun time.
Hilda Finnigan thanked Morgan for her presentation and wished her much success on her life journey.
President Robbie closed the meeting at 8:05 pm.
