This evening was the Annual General Meeting for our Club as well as the Annual General Meeting for the Rotary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood Charitable Foundation. President Linda, David Penney and Sue McKinnon presided over the meetings and sharing of the financial statements for both organization.

Foundation Board of Directors SLATE FOR 2024-25

The Board of Directors of the Charitable Foundation Directors for the period from November 15, 2023 to the date of the 2024 Annual General Meeting, as follows:

President – Al Finnigan

Vice President – Lennis Trotter

Secretary – Sue MacKinnon

Treasurer – Bill Creamer (with Linda Porritt assuming the role effective July 1, 2024)

Executive Secretary – Dave Andrews

Additional Directors: Lennis Trotter and Robbie Larocque

Additional Board members:

Automatic positions to the Board are: Linda Porritt as Club President and Hilda Finnigan as Club Vice President (until their club positions end on June 30, 2024)

Automatic positions to the Board will be: Hilda Finnigan as Club President and Dave Mankiewicz as Club Vice President (when they start their club positions on July 1, 2024)

DEC  10 – Concert for Feed The Need in Durham – The 11 Rotary Clubs in Durham Region invite everyone in Rotary, Rotaract clubs and the whole Rotary family in District 7070 in southern to the 6th Annual Concert for Feed The Need in Durham. Arranged by Joe Solway, Rotary Club of Bowmanville.

The Concert to Feed the Need in Durham is a co-presentation of Rotary clubs of Durham Region and Feed the Need in Durham. It brings together award winning musicians from across the Region in support of Feed the Need in Durham, which collects and distributes food to over 65 emergency food providers across Durham, including food banks, shelters, meal and snack programs and other social service agencies. Feed the Need in Durham provides over 1.5M meals to Durham residents annually
