  • Ted Morrison enjoyed meals from “Hello Fresh”

  • Bob Koski sad that he has used his last courtesy Oil Change; also got caught on Radar ($95.00) OOPS

  • Ted Morrison updated us re Past President Keith Ratchford who underwent a complicated surgery on 9 February – he is home and doing well.

  • Sue McKinnon received a letter from CRA – owes $86,000.00!!?? Getting this error sorted out

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:  

  • From DG Ron Dick 2024/25 DG Nominee Designate is Virginia O’Reilly; PETS Training starts February 15 (PE Robbie)

  • Rotary Leadership Institute continues training Session; Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium needs candidates; Foundation Gala is February 23 – tickets $125.00

  • Hilda Finnigan announced Back to “in person” at the Golf Club for next meeting February 22; Meal choices  changed slightly- will be Caesar Salad w Chicken; BLT wrap w Fries; or Fettucini Alfredo. REMEMBER to call by 10pm on Sunday evening.  Hilda will send out a reminder. Hilda also asked for a Bulletin Editor for March

  • Robbie Laroque heard recently from Mary Sloan t McLaughlin Collegiate regarding the Bursary that Oshawa Parkwood has traditionally given at Commencement 

  • Reverse Draw – license and insurance certificate have been obtained – ticket printing in final stages – should be available for distribution on February 22.

  • Our Board and Foundation have approved the ’61 Thunderbird project – John Kellam and Lennis Trotter are leading this project

  • Our “Grow Green With Rotary 2022” Ploughman’s Choice Project will be advertised mid March; will be available for pick up Mid April; at the Farmer’s Market beginning May 14; Pre orders will taken by calling Hilda or using our very own  “https://funditrotaryparkwoodoshawa.ca/” site

  • Bob Koski  reported that International Service had reviewed and declined a request to support a Humanitarian Project in Leslie County Kentucky.  Our current funds and finances were considered in this review.
