SGT AT ARMS:  BOB KOSKI

President Linda conducted the Happy Twoonies portion giving acting SSA Bob time to set up the Super Bowl Game Total Point Pool tickets for tonight’s replacement of the Ace of Spades Draw.

HAPPY TWOONIES

Dave A- welcomed guest speaker Richard Mewhinney to our club and told us about his weekend’s activities regarding the Presidents Elect Learning Session at the Oshawa Golf Club.

Acting SAA Bob Koski outlined his early morning and late afternoon phone calls regarding Rogers double billing issues and the ensuing email outages caused by switching from the old legacy system to the new Ignite system.

There were other Happy Twoonies but unfortunately I was distracted by the Super Bowl Ticket preparations. My apologies. If you wish to repeat your Happy Twoonie announcements at the February 20 meeting, there will be no charges and I will be sure to get them into the bulletin.

The Super Bowl Pool conducted by our acting SAA Bob was very capably assisted by our guests Richard and Miranda. Bob announced the name of each participating Rotarian and then the pool ticket # or #’s were announced by our guests. Our club managed to raise $345: $100 for the Pool and $245 for End Polio Now.

Editor’s Note: As this issue is prepared on Feb 12, our Pool was won by one of our newest members Jacquie Visconti with pool ticket # 6. Congratulations Jacquie. By the way, had the 49ers managed to stop the KC Chiefs overtime drive…. Your acting SAA would have won the Pool with his ticket #41.
