Winner: Robbie Larocque who drew the 5 of Clubs and won two tubes of tooth paste, compliments of Dr. Larry Hurren.
The deck gets smaller and the pot get bigger.
HAPPY TOONIES
Al Finnigan switched churches on Sunday and went to the Church of Mike McLaren where he played golf with Mike and his daughter Addi. Al won the 18th hole and received his reward (a beer). Al calls it divine providence.
Janice is planning a week off and at the end of the week will be BINGO and hopefully Kris will take her to dinner too.
Sue just returned (a few hours ago) from London England and found out, from her son, that she is going to be a grandmother , with the baby due on Dec 25.
Stanley is so glad that Chidinma is now back with us on a regular weekly basis. And so are we !!!
Terry Giles, our Charter President thanked Dave for chauffeuring him to and from the weekly Rotary meetings. (Note: the club members are very glad to see Terry every week, too).
Chidinma is very happy to be back with us and glad to start a new Rotary Year.
Ted is very glad to see Chidinma back again too. He is very proud of our Rotary Club for our presence at the Rotary Club of Oshawa Lobsterfest (37 people in attendance… 7 from our club). He is very please to see his son Scott without his Grizzly Adams beard. He shaved it off (but we hear that it is going back on again).
David Penney very happy that all of the stars lined up this week with the dock in and two boats in for the season at his cottage. We are crossing our fingers for David and Jan.
Robert Kipling told us that he too had a beard for 30 years and because of that , his skin is so young…. Not a wrinkle. Amazing.
