Robbie Larocque: announced there will be a Lessons Learned Meeting of the Reverse Draw Meeting for the Committee, after our regular meeting next week, June 5. Please bring your ideas.
Bob Stewart - Rotary Yard Sale - Saturday June 2nd (rain date June 3 rd). Bob is accepting items NOW. Bob needs volunteers for the Yard Sale on Friday Night, starting at 6:30pm and Saturday morning, before 8:00am. Call Rhonda at 905-442-9875 before you bring your items. WE NEED MORE ITEMS !!!
Pres Ted: has good news – Shelter Box, a Rotary Partner has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize!
Pres Ted: A Rotarian from the Oshawa Rotary Club cannot attend the June Conference and is offering their ticket for sale at half the price, $200.00 Please see Ted if you are interested.
Pres Ted: Thank you to Sandy for arranging BINGO at the Red Barn. It will start on Saturday, July 7, from 6:45 to 9:30pm. Teams will be set up on a schedule. Be ready to volunteer on a team . Sign up on June 5. We need to go and see one in action at the Red Barn.
REMINDER: Pres Ted: received communication from District Governor Neil Phillips that , the May 15 deadline to apply for a Distruict Grant has been extended to June 15. We still have time to apply.
REMINDER: Pres Ted: announced that on June 16, Port Hope Rotary Club is hosting their Annual Surf and Turf Lobster Dinner at Town Park Recreation Centre, 61 McCaul St, Port Hope, Ontario. From 6 to 10 PM. Lobster, Roast Beef, Salad bar, Dessert Buffet and Silent Auction. Call / text 905-376-6057 to book your tickets. Cost is $70.00 per person and it always sells out. If you are interested, get your tickets soon. Ted and Sharron are attending!
REMINDER: Hilda Finnigan: will be passing around a list for those who wish to volunteer to be the greeter, bulletin editor and on the registration desk during the summer months.

REMINDER: Pres Ted – reminded us about the JUNE 19 – RCMP Musical Ride – Two shows - 12:30 and 5:15 pm at Wiindreach Farm, 312 Townline Rd, Ashburn. Tickets . Tickets - $25 per adult, $15 per child . Arrive 1 hour prior to show time to ensure seating and parking. Visit windreachfarm.org for tickets, more information, and directions. Many Rotary Clubs in our district, including ours, has made donations to Windreach Farm, over the years. This is our chance to give back.
REMINDER: Sue MacKinnon: If you volunteer at the Kids' Safety Village in any capacity, a police check is now required. Please fill in attached form and return to Sue MacKinnon. Your SIN is not required.
REMINDER: Devon Biddle: talked about the Home Hospitality Night at Parkwood Estate on June 25. For some people attending the convention, this is the highlight for them, to see people from different countries, and their ethnical showing in their clothing in a home setting. Volunteers are required, even if you are not going to the Convention. Devon has the sign up sheet. Please let Devon know as soon as possible. If we do not have enough hosts from our Rotary, we will open this up to other clubs in the area.
REMINDER: Lennis Trotter will order "Rotary" clothing (hats, shirts and jackets) , but he needs a minimum number - let him know if you want anything.

Linda Porritt is happy Craig is recovering from his heart attack; we are too Linda!

Ted happy that his son can be treated with drugs after finding out the angiogram showed 70% blockage.
